"Rainfall"

The clouds turning shades slowly,
deeper, darker as the sky dims.
Casting shadows on the ground,
the music drifting, begins to pound.

The wind shakes, begins to rock the grass,
threatening tunes of high and low.
Down on earth, the lightning flashes a picture show.

One sweet drop of rain,
those big burts open, falling down.
Heavy loads, light sprinkles...
darkness glows, heaven twinkles.

Sky so deep it lasts forever,
rumbling music just gets louder.
Waiting anxiously for that beautiful soun,
falling in place all around.

Sit in honest, majestic sky
glaring upward, its wonder I can't deny.
Holding on, to what might be,
letting go in all i can see.



its beauty fell upon me once more today.
the heavenly skies opened up.
gave me a new outlook.
i was holding on too tight.
something i couldnt see before, but has never been clearer.
something that you can't fight for alone.
its funny to find all your answers in the weather.
but thats me, and exactly what i did.
sometimes you just have to let it all go.
even if its confusing.
and you dont understand.
even if you can't figure out why.
take a step back.
look for a different point of view.
see it from a different eye.
dream a different dream
it'll lead you back to what you want.
atleast thats what i can hope.
