When you were on my mind

There was a time when you were on my mind, and I was led to believe you'd leave me behind.

You consumed my thoughts and stole my heart;

But you were too good for me, never a chance I had, i could see that from the start.

I wanted to be your world and give you all that I knew; write my words and bring you a million surprises too.

Love that kindled like that, a love that would never look back.

Our passion, the strength could withstand, and the love we made,

the taste of your kiss, the way you held my hand.

There was a time when you were on my mind, and I was led to believe you'd never lead my side .

My best friend and lover, I've never needed one more. You alone forever is all I could ever adore. 

We make mistakes, and I fall short of who you want me to be.

But I couldn't love you more if I tried.

When you look in my eyes, I want you to see; the person you want to spend every day with. I want you to see me looking back at you, someone who doesn't ever want to be without you. 

Lately, you've been on my mind, 

and the tears crawling down my face leave me blind.

My heart is torn, my throat swollen; breaths are short, numbness takes hold all around.

Drowning out the world I hear no sounds, I hear your voice. I hear your heart beat. That's all I want to feel, that's all I know is  real. That's all I want to believe.

Friendship, a spark between two souls; and love, where 2 souls find a place of long lasting happiness; both of which are an act of giving your heart to another.. a bond full of unconditional giving, forgiving and being selfless. both take time, honest and believing in one another. The happiness give to one's heart by this love is unexplainable. Although at some point can hinder a world of sadness, when tested and can beat the odds; outstanding the doubts of the rest of the world, fighting the fears of self-doubt; trusting in that person; thats when it becomes life-changing. It is a rare and beautiful gift to love but to open your heart to someone completely, for them to give you theirs and love you back the same; that is worth living for. You can have all the money in the world, you can have all the material things that you believe will make you happiest, what anyone else may think is the importance of our being. but until you find another to give your heart that inner joy, to feel your mind and soul with passion. That one that completes you, who puts you at the top of their world. Someone you look at and think "gah i'm the luckiest person in the world"; the person you adore and intensely adores you just the same. The person who proves that to you everyday and never wants to stop making you feel so wanted. Someone who surrounds your life with fire and passion. Until you find that; your days will be full of falseness and your nights will be empty. Love is the only thing to beat loniliness. Love that is built off of friendship is a beautiful thing. to last forever, withstanding the tests of our lives is God-given, magical, and can set the stars at night on fire... <3

Feeling lost. Wishing you were here to help me with the tears that fill my eyes. Wondering If I'm still there in your heart. On your mind? Trusting you still with my heart. It's crushing. I just want you to give in and fall into me, letting me know you're still mine, letting me know I still matter. That each day you wake wanting to be with me . That each day is maybe one day closer to being with the one I love. That each day is a day that you will fight for me. To show me what you've always said was true . That this love has changed you an your world. That I have taught you how to love. That I have given you a world full of dreams .

“What do you see when you look at these children? Each one unique, each one especially made. A beautiful mind, a beautiful soul unwinding. Each one with their own story, full of hope. Needing much love and devotion, commitment, and belief. When you look in their eyes, when their beautiful smile finds you, what do you see? An angel lifting us up on a day full of struggles. A child with more love than one human ever knows. A reminder of our blessings were given each day. Do you see a child full of magic? An inspiration, to find our way? A song full of happiness in their voice. A world of wonder in their eyes. A given strength in their hug. What do you see when you look at these children? They may not run, laugh or play like others. And may never speak their first word. Each one understands differently, trying to figure out their place in our world. Some will struggle, some will quickly succeed. Each one with a gift, needing a little help and guidance to reveal it, someone to show them the way. What do you see? A heart full of gold. A child full of laughter, surprises and play. I see a miracle born in every way. Each breath these children take, they take a chance in this life we know. They are scared and confused, but full of life, wanting to belong. Wanting to know, they matter to someone. To all of us. What do you see? A child looking into the hearts of you and me!

These special individuals inspire me every single day..each one of them is so unique and have their own strengths and assets. they are all so different but have one thing in common, they have greatly touched my life forever. Their warm embrace of each hug and kiss, their passion that explodes from them when they smile. Oh that smile, will leave you breathless. Its full of so much excitement and brilliance. They are truly magical in their own way. They are full of love for anyone and everyone and have no judgement of others. They love and love and love despite your faults and imperfections. Each one of them has brought immense amounts of joy to my life over the past several years. They each have made me laugh until i cried and cry until i couldnt cry any more. I have loved each one truly and unconditionally and continue to do so whether I still see them often or hardly at all. I think of them every single day and hope that I have left an impact on their lives the way they have mine without even trying. They are absolutely beautiful children with beautiful hearts. I am and forever will be grateful for the chance I have had to meet and share life with these special stars....

The sun will rise again today...

The sun will rise again today,
From the dark of night, where the still moon sweetly lays.
Colors fill the sky, beauty of a rainbow softly would arise.
Stunning our eyes, capturing us like a child and a birthday surprise.
Giving us divine hope, giving us all reason to believe.
Believe in each other, believe in a love so deep, giving us faith, strength and desire to take that leap.

This love that many search for all over to find,
it's not one that comes easy , not one we should take for granted.
Is a feeling of passion, of trueness and devotion .
Some talk Of fairytales, some of forever.
Some are selfish, and can't be honest; although know is the feeling of 'never'.
Allowing yourself to give your heart to another,
will open up a world that is beyond what you've ever known.
A world full of love and friendship and life.,
that can get us past all the Hurt and heartache.
Nobody ever wants to give this a chance ,
afraid of what might be or what people will say.
But if we're living our lives to please others,
what happiness are we going to find at the end of each day.

Let the things you love be your escape.
the beauty in each day that love creates.
Find where your heart is and follow that.
I know my heart is with you so in you is what I believe and need.
That's where I begin and end each of my days.
Faced with struggles , rise above and fight back.
don't let meanness control you and hatred hurt you.
Those that bring you down don't care about your happiness.
Give your heart to the one would go tO the ends of the earth for you.
